Full moon in Paris

We recently sold some postcards of the above photo. I'm still amazed Rhett was able to take this photo without a tripod on slow shutter speed. April in Paris is truly a wondrous time to be there!

A new site soon

We're currently working with a flash designer to redesign the Your Exquisite Photos website. Initial tests have been looking good so far. Though I've discovered our internet at home is relatively slow. :( It may be because we live in a densely populated area with dense internet use.

Anyway, I'm glad we got a designer rather than figure out how to use flash. I just don't have the time to delve into such things. Plus it's nice working with an expert who knows the bounds and limitations of the software.

We're running beta testing now. So, hopefully will announce something soon!

Abstract Eiffel

I posted these photos of the Eiffel Tower on our page on Facebook. They are photos of the Eiffel Tower at night but using long exposure and a bit of free hand movement to do some light painting.

Strawberries and Cream

We've been enjoying our foray into micro-stock photography. We're even selling a few here and there like this one: Cream pouring over a bowl of strawberries.

This was actually French yogurt pouring into the bowl, which gave it that nice thick ripple as opposed to regular cream. I like the red, white, and blue combination that makes it feel patriotic in a way.
